The Centre for Environmental and Economic Research (CEER) is a bespoke consulting group based at the University of Melbourne. CEER started in 2015, to meet a demand for supporting organisations which deal with complex natural systems and high uncertainty in day-to-day decision making. Our focus is on applied environmental and economic research, applying cutting edge tools and techniques to support government and industry to make better decisions in the face of uncertainty.
Our focus is to work collaboratively with partner agencies to address economic and environmental risk problems, to ensure our approach is fit for purpose. Our team brings skills and tools from decision science, economics, risk analysis, psychology, and biosecurity.
